How to not be terrible at Star Planet Pvp legends return

Alrighty guys, so with the new update, a PVP game was added to star planet. I am currently ranked 12 out of every server in "The Legends Return" PVP, and have noticed a something: The PVP is really really fun, unless you are stuck on a terrible team who has no idea what to do (Most of the time, you are). This will be a basic guide on how to preform decently in PVP, just to help everybody stop being noobish at it so teams can actually be balanced. EDIT: Basil made the entire number list start with 1., oh well.

1. If your team lacks a mage, you're at a disadvantage already. Mage is very important, because of his healing orb that team-members can stand in to heal constantly. While playing mage, cast heal orb whenever possible for your party. Also, you have the most important skill on the field, the meteor. This is capable of 1hit killing the entire enemy team if used correctly (I have wiped out the entire team about 7 times with this skill, and countless double kills). Cast it sparingly, and carefully, there is a 60 second cooldown.

2. Lots of times, people make the mistake of talking in allchat. Speak in party chat to your team, duh.

3. Here is the path i generally take for leveling up: Levels 1-4, stick to the mushrooms and pigs in portal 1. if the enemy team tries to advance to your side, push them back as a group. if you can rush to level 3, you gain access to your first real skills, and can control the platform, hogging all the exp and not allowing the enemy team to level up easily without a fight.

4. This is the MOST IMPORTANT PART GUYSSS. At around level 4 or 5, you, and your entire team should completely abandon the portal 1 mob platform, and head back to base, heal up, and go through portal 2. From there, you should work as a team to kill the higher level mobs in portal 2. This will yield extremely good exp. Stay in portal 2 until all of your skills are unlocked. You will find that while killing portal 2 mobs, the enemy team will try and attack and take over your platform, this is the opportunity to take advantage of getting a head start here, you should be slightly higher leveled than the other team if you got to portal 2 as a team first. Simply fight back and if you happen to die, return and support your team. don't chase an enemy if they are in a better position than you.

5. As for stats to put gold into leveling up, I suggest increasing Damage first, then HP and Crit. Some movement speed is nice, and i usually dont worry too much about HPMP regen. Make sure you max out damage though, very very helpful.

6. Completely ignore the boss that spawns at 3min, not worth your time

7. NEVER EVERRRR chase an enemy into their own spawn, you will take massive damage from just being in the spawn.

8. Final battle strategy: once the timer hits 0, you all get warped for one final standoff. I suggest you prepare for this by making sure your gold is all used up and your cooldowns on all skills are done.
ALWAYS be careful of mages on this part, its a small fighting area and their meteor is infamous for instakilling the whole team if you stick close together, the best way to handle mages here is to split up one by one and attack from different platforms. If you are a mage on the other hand, try and land your ulti in the area with the most people, to be honest its OP, and youll always get a kill. Use stunlocking skills, healing skills, and skills that get you behind the enemy to pick off remaining enemies.

9. Also, be careful of people using the "mike" class' ultimate on the final battle, they will be invincible, reflect your damage, and heal their team-members with it, it is very dangerous to be close to this class when its ultimate is active.

10. When training, portal 3 and it's mobs are too strong/beefy, avoid this completely, 2 is much better

Hopefully these tips will help you guys get a little better at starplanet PVP! leave your own tips below for others to see.
Mage class OP, pls nerf.

-Sincerely, somebody tired of being put on teams with people level 4 after 10min who dont know how to use their skills.

I like mages low hp and easy kill at the start of things most of the time it's easy for me to dodge the meteors lol but the range of the meteor is broken. im a op manji and mu gong and I have rule when it comes to pvp and that is if the other team is level 1 when you get to 3 kill them all lol no remorse. Mu gong too strong yours truly -TAMEUHBEAST

@OHKOJay Is it a waste of time to run back to base to heal up when you've been injured from a fight and your recovery is in cooldown? Even if it means being MIA from your team for awhile. :x

Standoff determins the winner, but everything up to the standoff determins how strong the two sides will be (your investment in skills, and damage/hp/crit chance ect)
It is always good to kill characters before standoff (a little redundant at the first 2min but if you can, go for it! just dont prioritize it), and the perks from killing them is LOTS of gold. Around the time you unlock skill #4 you will want to start seeking out the enemy team to attack. @reticent

@OHKOJay: Is it good to kill other players before the stand off? Or is it better to keep mobbing until the standoff. What advantages do you get by killing other players before the standoff? I don't even get how you win. Do you win by the other team having more deaths or do you win by killing the other team during the standoff? O-O"

@reticent My ideal team is Grendal for heal/Mob kills, Manji for amazing 1V1, and Mike for the damage sponging. not too sure about the other ones.
@TheKin2m No problem! and Mu gong is weird to me sort of, but he's not bad.

Really useful; thanks! Mage is crazy strong, even if I can't play him well lol.

What do you think about Mu Gong? He seems to be the only one that was able to reliably kill me.

Grr. I just tried it. and I'm at a disadvantage cause my jump button is S. It was such an odd placement of keys.
Anyways. What's "base"?
And what else is necessary besides mage. o-o Like what's your ideal team?

Odd. You shouldnt be doing 1 damage, should be around 100ish. From levels 1-4ish you and your team should have no problem killing in the portal 1 area
