Coming Back to Maplestory

I haven't played Maplestory in a while, and I'm thinking about coming back. I used to play Broa and Scania but I didn't really meet anybody there and most people I tried to talk to just ignored me. At most I just had like 1 or 2 active friends. I want to start a new character but in a different world. Which world should I pick, and how is the community there? Also, no trolls please. (This will probably provoke trolls anyway.)
