Dualblade

The secret about DBs being OP'd.

Seriously... who would of figured that out? Now shut up and stop complaining that DBs are op'd. I thought a majority of people would of figured that 2 weapons = pretty much twice as much damage.
Pure attack range doesn't mean as much for DBs (well it does, but not in the way you think). Although your range looks higher, its actually comprised of two different attack ranges that you can't see- a dagger range and a katara range. That's why when you use skills, you always have a series of 'high' numbers followed by 'low' numbers- the high numbers come from your dagger and the low numbers (usually around half the dmg of the 'high' numbers) come from you katara.

If you've played a DB, you'd see what i mean

Equip one, then equip the other. Tell me your attack range doesn't go up from one weapon equiped to another equiped.
By the way how I read the formula, one has more attack than the other, so there might be a slight change in damage. However, considering all youur basic skills need both a katara and a dagger, you probably won't be able to compare since it reacts to a "missing link" in the skill. That's why they're called dual blades in the first place...

@Foolosophy: Alright then. From what I knew, DB had a problem with HP. The topic wasn't focused around that though. It's focused around the kiddies complaining about high damage from a class that uses two weapons.

@paddlecrab:
It's pretty easy to get the rex earrings which are an easy 10% hp, and if you can't afford decent hb, then you're probably not going to be soloing anything that can one hit you, so most of the time I'm sure you will be with a dragon knight. Also kataras give an easy like what 300 hp right there? As well as other hp items like medals and some helms. Trust me, hp isn't much of an issue anymore.

With a chaos ZHelm, chaos HTP, rex earings, and decent hb; hp isn't much of an issue. Even only having one of those items with decent hb is enough to get you around. On top of that having high avoid helps a lot more.

From what i've seen, people don't seem to understand why they are so strong. I thought an image might help explain why.

We don't need an explanation.
We are just commenting on their overpowered-ness.
