Having trouble deciding on a major So I'm a high school senior right now and I can't seem to decide on a major. My dad wants me to major in computer science because I am very good at math (Took ap calc bc last year and got a 5, taking multivariable calc this year) but the problem, i haven't taken a single computer class my whole life! Also, I am interested in the medical field because it sounds fun to me to listen to symptoms and figure out problems, but I haven't taken any biology (I tested out of it so I didn't have to take it freshman year). Engineering might also be a good option but I don't really know much about it. Help!

Companies and universities Hi everyone, I was just curious about one thing. For fresh graduates out of college, how much do companies value a degree from a top tier school, say MIT, vs a degree from a good state school, say University of Illinois at Urbana Champagne (UIUC)? I don't attend a top tier school like MIT or stanford, so I want to know how much of a disadvantage I have. Just FYI, I am majoring in computer science at Purdue University, with a GPA of 3.94. I am a sophomore. Thanks for you input!

Studying Computer Science Hi guys! I'm a freshman computer science major and I had a few questions I was wondering about. 1) How important is GPA? Like how big is the difference between a 3.4 and 3.8? Will a high GPA (i.e. 3.8ish) automatically give you interviews to internships and jobs? 2) What are some things I could do for my resume? I'm doing 2 minors, ECE (electrical and computer engineering) and math, I'm in a robotics club as part of the software team, and I'm going to start trying to make my own apps (Any ideas for apps would be appreciated). Is there anything else I can do? 3) If I want to go to grad school, when should I go? Right after I graduate? After I work a couple of years at a company to get some real life experience? Also
