It's been 2 years.
How's everyone? I'm thinking about coming back after downloading pocketmaplestory. I also have 30 bucks I'm willing to dump on NX.
Is it worth it?
What's the best class to start off with? (unfunded)
Are Paladins still 'poop' after they got nerfed? Or were they buffed?
I have a level 134 paladin, should I use that to my advantage?
What are some good tips, and guides to look at?

What azn said. Especially when black friday comes so save your money for that. The maple appriciateion event should give you a 30% off coupon for the shop and you can use that to buy like an 11 pack black friday premium suprise. Except not sure if everybody gonna start buying it like crazy and massively deflating cash shop items.
Welcome back to Maple! Paladins are always fun. I have a Paladin in Broa who I liked a lot cause of her high defense. But hated it cause lack of mobbing.

You'll get used to him - he posts a lot of useless comments.
1)Is it worth it? That question is relative. Do you enjoy mindlessly grinding and paying real cash for the ability to take down high-end bosses? Then the answer is yes. $30 won't get you close. For $30 you can get a perfected weapon with 9-12% attack. 30$ is about 3b. That's 1 out of 1X equipment pieces you need.

These are some of the best unfunded classes. Of course the only thing that matters when you're funded is the amount of lines you do per second, which makes all but the Night Walker irrelevant. It would basically include any class that attacks quickly with a hurricane-like skill or has a lot of lines with damage over time; Bowmaster, Wild Hunter, F/P Mage, etc.
3) Paladins are poop and have always been poop in terms of bossing and damage output. Yes, they have high hp, but that's about all. If you enjoy being able to tank, then choose this class. Most bosses have skills that take away a set % of your HP now instead of a set damage amount, so Paladin's HP doesn't mean much.
4) Guides can be found at ayumilove's website.

Paladins just dont die of course they are good. Best tank in game.
Make all your link skill mules. Then from there you can decide which class is best for you to start unfunded
Make a character dedicated to elite boss farming to make some bank in the beginning.
Use that $30 on a new cycle of premium surprise boxes and sell asap as prices diminish super quick after the first few days so best bang for buck is when a new cycle comes.
