@pirate4eva: Nodestones are obtained from monsters in the new region Arcane River that can be accessed at Level 200 after receiving 5th Job. Since they drop untradeable ones you're required to open them and disassemble them for node shards, then make them into a random tradeable Nodestone.

Arcane River Droplet Stones are dropped by monsters in Lachelein and Arcana which are the 3rd and 4th area of Arcane River. They have a entry level requirement of Level 220 and 225 respectively.

However Level isn't the only thing that matters but in terms of damage and Arcane Force. If you do not have one of either you'll have great difficulty in dealing with those monsters in that region.

Arcane Force can only be gained through Symbols which is a new type of equipment. You can gain a specific area Symbol through killing monsters or doing daily quests. Each Level requires a certain amount of Symbols and when the requirement is met you have to pay a certain fee of mesos to level up the Symbol. Since there are 4 areas, there are 4 different Symbols that are obtainable.

There's a spell trace fever coming up in october, so you should start gathering up scrolls and traces if you plan to sell them. Demand will be high very soon.

If I've understood the question correctly, it's probably clean slates. Easy to get from Elites, sell quickly. Otherwise Cubic and Cubic Chaos Blades work too, though they're a little less reliable from elite monsters and it takes a while to get far enough in Commerci for it to be a viable strategy to farm for Cubics. If you do do Commerci though, the glasses and tattoos are also worth a good amount of money even clean.
