Job Idea: Bard

[Header] The Bard [/Header]

Before you say anything, this would be a new adventurer branch with 2 branches. The two branches would consist of Bard; Wind or Bard; String, for each of the two forms of intraments it would play. The multiplyer would be very high, higher than nightlords. Their 'songs' play over the standard map music.

The bard is a suport-class. It's attacks are fairly weak, however, it can land some nasty de-buffs to Mobs and Bosses.

Bards use Dex and Luck, with both being primary. They have dead average HP and MP compaired to all the classes.

SONGS DO NOT STACK.

[Header] 1st Job: Bard; String [/Header]

Gutar Booster: Standard booster, broski.

Song- Battle Cry: Buffs allies with a minor speed, weapon attack, and weapon defence boost. Stacks on everything.
-At max; The buff lasts 30 seconds, 20 Weapon Attack and Magic Attack, 20% speed, 50 Weapon Defence and Magic Defence. 100 Second cooldown.

Chord: Plays a standard Chord, with the potency to hit upto 6 enemies.
-At max, 110% damage to 6 enemies with a 10% chance to stun.

Amps: Plays a very loud note, that knocks back upto 6 enemies with weak damage.
- At max, hits 6 enemies with 40% damage with 10% chance for DoT. 40% DoT damage.

Song- Discorde: Debuffs enemies. Reduces their attack, weapon defence, and speed each.
- The debuff lasts 60 seconds, Reduces 10% of their weapon attack and magic defence, weapon defence and magic defence and speed + 2 more % for every 10 levels. 100 Second cooldown.

[Header] 2ed Job: Bard; String [/Header]

Gutar Mastery: Mmhmm....

Chord Mastery: Increases the speed and damage of Chord, makes it a much more spamable move.
- At max, hits 8 Enemies, with 200% damage, with 35% chance to stun. Requires heavy metal level 5.

Heavy Metal: Plays heavy metal every loudly, harming anything around you.
- At max, hits 4 Enemies with 70% damage 4 times with a 100% chance to silence mobs.

Gutar Bash: Passive. If a mob gets to close, activates a 'no-delay' bash that doesn't cause damage but stuns enemies for 1 second and knocks them back. This skill is a 0 point skill, and is optained when you Job Advance.

Song- Shadows: A mysterious song that buffs allies similar to thiefs.
- At max, the buff lasts 60 seconds, gives all allies Maxed Dark Sight untill they attack, increases attack speed by 1 and avoid by 100. 100 Second cooldown.

Song- Mystic: A mysterious song that buffs allies similar to mages.
-At max, the buff lasts 60 seconds, gives all allies Level 10 Magic Guard, increases magic defence by 100, and magic attack by 10. 100 Second cooldown.

Song- Power: A mysterious song that buffs allies similar to warriors.
At max, the buff lasts 60 seconds, and gives all allies 50% Stance and power guard, increases weapon attack by 10 and weapon defence by 100. 100 Second cooldown.

Song- Swift: A mysterious song that buffs allies similar to Bowmen.
-At max, the buff lasts 60 seconds, and gives all allies 10% critical rate with 110% bonus damage, increases weapon attack and magic attack by 7 and avoid by 60. Gives 30% Final Attack. 100 second cooldown.

Song- Victorious: A mysterious song that buffs allies similat to Pirates.
-At max the buff lasts 60 seconds. Gives all allies 5% critical rate with 105% bonus damage, increases weapon attack by 25 and magic attack by 25, but reduces weapon and magic defence by 400. 100 second cooldown.

So... you never get hit?
One enemy at a time, and most enemies past level 30 have a magic attack.
105% bonus damage? Are you insane? You want to double everyone's damage?
No, it gives a bonus of 5% damage.
So... if I hit 100 damage, with the buff I would hit a 105.
Minstrel is a supporing class in oltro (Lord of the rings online). That uses chord to buff and attack =o
I have never played Oltro online, but many games have bards being suportists, so a class like this isn't uncommon.
You have taken this class from the lotro's Minstrel! Get out off here!
I have no clue what Minstrel is. I know tons of games with Bard being a class.

Edit: Third Job is getting a ton of attacks, don't worry.
Please tell me how LT ripped off of Maple. Because it's a 2D Sidescrolling MMORPG? Oh please. Maple rips off a ton of stuff. It's funny how people hate nexon until
latale comes up, then everyone just starts kissing their ass.

If you've actually played latale, you'd know that latale and maple have an entirely different playstyle. Get your facts straight bro, or at least get past level 10 on there.
True words, right there.

The only game I've seen which has Bard and still has them have interesting mechanics is Forsaken World. In FW, each of the Bard's skill casts adds a unique music "note" to their song line. If several notes are played in the right order and with the right timing, the song activates to give special buffs / attacks. The Bard learns new songs as they level up, leading to new skill combinations and orders.

Other than that, it's boring.

I realize some of the buffs might be too OP, I forgot to add % for Stance and what level magic guard you get.

IDK, seems like a pretty boring job. Though if it existed, I'd probably play one because I love support classes.
