try go to the nexon folder in My Computer and search for gamerlauncher.exe and right click>run as admin.

So Anyone still having this issue, because i know i am! </3

Hey sorry for the late reply, ive given up on this trying after 2 weeks.But, i do Dc when the games is starting up. Whats the video that you said will fix everything!

Sigh, I also have this problem! Gamelauncher will not start MS, I've changed the target of Maplestory.exe to GameLaunching and it just won't work! I am able to start the game via steam and the Maplestory website, but as soon as I enter my PIC, I disconnect. ._.

I have the same problem since v 125.
I have Avast! free, but even when I turned both my antivirus and my firewall off, I was unable to open gamelauncher.

The solution on the other forum seems strange but it worked for me. Gamelauncher just takes a couple seconds longer to launch now, otherwise all is normal.

When I type in my info at the login screen and press play nothing happens

Bitdefender cause maple not to show up. To fix this: Go to shield and turn off active virus control!

Try this please.
Go to the maplestory folder>HSHIELD>UPDATE>then click autoup and have it update then retry.

hopefully this will be fixed soon its getting annoying

@President: forgot to respond but yes it works for me but i normally have to restart my computer(just log off and log on) and then open maple before i open anything else, including the internet.
like maple has to start at the world selection page before i can do anything. i hope that helps

@bounty88 Already did everything you said, none of that worked. I even deactivated both firewall and antivirus and ran maplestory, still didn't work.

are you talking about in task manager. i mean the 2nd tab in task manager , id think its called processing.
well, all i can say is check your firewall to see if its blocking it or have no permission to run, and try to run maple launcher as adminitrator or reset your pc. last thing to do is removed maple and download steam with your maple account email and download maple.

um task manager, find maplestory.exe, delete it and try again. or anything related to maple

i press play and nothing, no loading of black cipher, nothing

I can't start the game from GameLauncher either. It says there's a server check but Maple's site says nothing.

Wow day 4 and the games not working...

Make sure you keep Nexon's Maplestory page open and logged in while the games up.
