- latale: fun at the start but once you get in to it, it becomes worse then maplestory, the poor translations and other things make it even worse, i would just end up avoiding it if you find maplestory boring
- i don't know alot about elsworld but judging by the by the first look and from what the person said, elsworld is really reptitive (but has a great pvp) also the classes are gender restricted.
- i also dont know alot about wonderking 2 but i hear that it does everything better then maplestory, but you would have to go on a japanese/kr website to download and play, so you could get fairly lost in the game and there would be no one to ask for help unless you came across another english speaking player. you also might have a computer like mine where you will get little blank boxes instead of the kr text

EDIT: just to add, there arent that many [i][/i]if any[i][/i] 2d platformers with rpg elements in it so you either scour the internet for one or you could pick either a platformer game online which there arent really any good ones which is why i recommended simply buying a good platformer instead, or a 2d game with platforms in it but its not a platformer at all which is why i recommended elsword
