Computer font looks weird and a bit distorted

Hey guys, so recently I got an update for windows and after updating I've noticed that my font has been changed.
The font only looks weird on the browser and on games, documents, etc but not on my desktop.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Did you install any fonts recently?

One time I installed helvetica nueu and it made the type look pretty distorted on my browser.

Uninstalling the type fixed the issue.

That is only true for some somewhat recent Nvidia drivers. AMD's drivers don't overwrite old versions, but it works quite well for them because the fresh install is about at corruption free as it gets.

I also neglected to mention that because your computer is a desktop, your video card can use drivers directly from AMD or Nvidia, and not necessarily from DELL, depending what card is in your system. If you can identify your card and report it here, I can locate the correct drivers for you.
my card is an NVIDIA geforce 6150SE nForce 430
Open the Start Menu and locate the search bar right beneath "All Programs" which should have "Start Seach" in gray text.

Search the following:
dxdiag
and there should be one result called dxdiag. This is the DirectX Diagnostic Tool and I'm going to have you use it to identify what video card is inside your computer.

When you run DxDiag, click Yes or Ok to any window that pops up. When the DirectX Diagnostic Tool is loaded, navigate to the next tab called Display. The device name should spell out or something close of the video card in your system.

The next steps involve updating the corresponding graphic drivers from DELL which have been updated. Note, there is a correct procedure for updating graphic drivers and I can provide further instructions for you if needed, but it is most simply
1) download new driver to prepare for step 4
2) uninstall old driver
3) restart computer
4) install new driver
5)restart computer.

This may or may not resolve your font issue, but because your screenshots of the problem suggest some problem with the pixel shaders, a graphics driver update seems like a good safe start.
I recently read that I do not need to uninstall the old driver because as you install the new one it will overwrite the old one, is this true?
