Honestly, the changes to Brawlers on the whole was pretty good, despite the reception it got.

First and foremost, a Flash Jump-esque skill was added, which was something everyone wanted for mobility... so that's good.

The major change, however, is that the entire class utilizes the Energy Charge system and, in my opinion, the updates to the system are excellent. Before, once you hit 3rd job, you put points into Energy Charge and in each job, one "charge skill" that let you use a powerful attack once your energy charged. The attack does not need MP, but you need to be in the charged state to use it. With RED, however, Energy Charge is the Brawler's unique skill gained at lv 30 (then upgraded as the jobs go up). With the new system, Brawlers gain access to ALL of their attacks with or without the charged form. However, when you go into charged form, all of your attacks become more powerful, don't use MP (I believe) and their properties will change in some cases. For example, Tornado Uppercut in 2nd job will pass through enemies and keep going, hitting more monsters when in charged mode.

A lot of people complained that the Brawler class didn't get any new attacks, but in a way, they did. More accurately, they were given access to all of their skills with or without charged form. That means Energy Blast and Buccaneer Blast can be used at any time, while Corkscrew Punch, Spiral Assault, Shockwave, Dragon Strike and Octopunch all have ascended forms when the energy is charged. Technicly, those all are new skills in some small way.

So, really... it's a pretty good update, if not simple.

Hopefully when RED comes to GMS, Nexon America maybe, just maybe, just maybe if they turn a new leaf, Nexon America might listen to GMS players. I swear Pirates don't get any love in Korea.

Why didn't bucc get any changes in 1.2.481? Bucc still has too many conflicting mobbing skills. -_-

We seem to have gotten buffed and stronger but I think we lost our originality with the revamp. The new upcoming RED revamp just kinda buffs us more and puts another charge to stack. I think they could have done better with the revamp. For the least, I wish they had kept barrage. I loved that skill.

Recent patch applied no additional changes either, as far as I know. Stuff for Thieves and Corsairs, but not for Buccs. We're pretty decent, but still have our share of useless, unnecessary skills.
