Paladin help please

Hello there, I am kind of new to the Paladin world Can you help me with a few questions and perhaps, give me some tips please?

1. The other day, I was helping a party with a scar-run, and this guy said that I shouldn't crash when scar is on weapon-cancel? How does Magic Crash works? The description says it has a chance to cancel the buff, wouldn't crashing at weapon-cancel be the "right" time?

2. How do you effectively activate Divine Shield? I rarely use pots at lhc, but when I can't find a party, I train somewhere else like around El Nath and Leafre, I start using hp pots. Not in a pot burning rate, but it is a bit more than I thought?

3. The weapon I am using now is the 1h lvl 100 sword (I forgot the name), why do I see a lot of people recommending it and scrolling it? Isn't the 1h reverse sword better? because it is 108 attack clean, and it can level-up? Does it have anything with do with the speed and such? For someone with around 300m funding, which is recommended to scroll?

4. For my 4th skill build, I have maxed ACB and Divine Shield, 1 Guardian, 1 HH, 1 Achilles, 1 Stance, and 10 Blast. I usually train at lhc, go on scar-runs, and pqs, and since I can't find Blast 20 yet, should I save 20 sp for Blast or go with something else? I read it somewhere in the forum that I should go with Stance next? I am not really funded, and some people said that maxing HH for the unfuned next would help a lot in lhc, but I don't really want to put 20 sp into maxing a skill and end up with a 20 (?) second cool down

I think that's about it Thank you

Radiation answered 1-4 spot on, but as for #4, I highly recommend you get a dragon Carabella sword because they have much higher damage than normal dragon equips and come with Epic potential meaning you could do a lot more damage. I was lucky enough to get 6% str and land 3 20% Scrolls and a 70% Scroll on it making it 128 ATT. Nothing amazing, but its defnintely going to hold me off until I get my endgame or close-to endgame weapon.

And as for #5
I am VERY much against maxing blast until you reach 160ish. Blast is kind of useless until you do serious bossing, which is around 160 when you can HT and get into czak parties. You will live 1v1 with ACB until then, its no big deal. You will benefit much more on other skills. And I'm assuming you are fairly weak - decent damage (no offense) due to you only having 300m. You will benefit SO much more with maxed HH. 1v1, HH > Blast until 160 if you are low funded. New paladins tend to max Blast very early cause they want their numbers higher when in actuality their DPM is higher with HH, so unless you just love bossing and max out on zak/scar/whatever it is, blast is kind of useless to you.
My recommendations:
1. Max ACB
2. Max HH
3. Max Divine
4. Max Guardian
5. Max Blast
6. Max Holy Charge

By the time you finish those you will be 160-170 which is when you start HT/Czaking and with those, you'll be set at LHC and bosses.

1. It only cancels sword, shield, acc, avoid buffs. But if you use it before a more advance buff is casted (like cancel weapon attack or reflect) it will not be casted.
2. Take a physical hit, then back away. You could try using ice charge to stop normal monsters from attacking you.
3. It is recommended because it is a fairly common sword that can hit 150 ATT which will gain more ATT when EEs are used. I would suggest using the current legends event shop to your advantage and get yourself a nice 130+ ATT sword with 40%s for free.
4. Lv10 stance is nice to have even for training at LHC. Dealing 15m damage every 20 seconds will help you level much faster at LHC, and its one of the things that make Paladins so strong in PvP.

100 sword = Sparta. Dropped by Ore Muncher (only non-boss monster)
110 sword = Dragon Carabella. Dropped by Horntail, recipe from Dark Yeti and Dragonoir (and Horntail, but seriously. Horntail).
Both these swords are tradeable (as someone said), but also readily available. So you can keep getting them and keep scrolling, then sell them back. During this event try what the first poster said, but when the even ends try those two swords.

Blast is not a training skill, unless you train by hitting one monster at a time. Guardian is useful because it is passive, but I believe it provide no i-frames for ranged and magical attacks.

If you choose to max HH (I recommend it if you're unfunded, and it always hits the damage cap regardless of weapon cancel or not), make sure you do it all at once. Don't slot other skills in midway because the cooldown decreases by ten seconds every level, from 5 minutes to 20 seconds. 20 seconds isn't actually that much - think about (or try) training with level 2 Stance. It's not that long.

I don't recommend Holy Charge.

I'm pretty much in the same situation as you are, though since I'm not really funded and got hacked a while ago, I decided to max Heaven hammer before blast. 20 sec cooldown isn't that bad, 1 millon damage per 20 sec to 15 mobs is pretty good in my book.

I wondered about Magic crash too. It does put a 20 second limit on the boss before he can cast any type of damage canceling buffs. I normally use it immediately when I see the magic damage cancel icon. I've never seen it work on weapon cancels.

For Divine shield, it is completely by chance. It's 24% chance of activating at level 12 whenever you take damage, though it has a 30 sec cooldown. If you are careful you can easily keep within the 6 hits for more than 30 sec, and activate it again as soon as it expires.

I never use HP pots outside of bosses, HP recovery covers it all. If you are 1 handed, mobs mostly do 1-100 touch damage to you. With a blue kent familiar (recovers MP), I don't even use pots at all ^_^

I think the best thing to scroll is the legendary dragon carabella, it's 108 clean and comes with potential. 50 coins isn't that hard to get if you farm the Rudolph quest as much as you can.
