Maplestory, Black C1ph3r
So I noticed that maplestory has Black C1ph3r for some reason and I also saw alot of posts saying that people are lagging or cant even get on, maybe thats resolved by now, I dont know because I havent been on but if it hasnt been resolved then this might be why http://screensnapr.com/v/dnV26z.jpg
Edit: Well I got on maple and I'm not lagging so I guess we just have double the security though it probably wont help at all xD

How are you guys lagging from it o_o It's barely using any of my CPU, and my laptop isn't that great.

One reason is that if a hacker gets banned on MapleStory, they can just make another account, but on WoW, most people would rather [b]not[/b] get banned after paying ~$15/month to play.

By the way, anyone who closes the Black Cipher process "will not improve in-game performance, but will instead make you vulnerable to server disconnects and may cause your account to be flagged for File Modification" (quoted from the main site). I have a feeling some of us will be victimized again...
So... I don't understand.
The announcement says: "Don't disable it, so that we can find hacks"
But how exactly does this help legit players?
Obviously the hackers will disable it. So how would the shield be able to detect hacks, if the person playing under it isn't the hacker.

I cant even get on maple after the patch. I got this error -2005532292 (unknown error 0x8876017c) any solutions?

Comon it was so easy to hack in Combat Arms.
Black Cipher is just another fail progame, wich will be bypassed pretty soon!
wth read it and it says black cipher alone took 99 PERCENT OF THE CPU, and now they dualed it with hackshield
nexon, piling more crap onto crap doesnt make something good, it just makes more crap
nexon's logic: if one hack shield didn't work, we'll throw on ANOTHER crappy hack shield, sure to double our security!
i do sort of hope it has some effect....probably not major though ;_;
