Say I build another computer

I'm planning on upgrading my computer, with new parts, and keeping some old ones.
Here's a list of the stuff I'm looking at getting off new egg. Below that is a list of what I already have and plan on using.

Mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128510
GPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130571
RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428 **(Updated RAM)
CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168191'13

Here's what I have.

Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129058 (should be okay size wise right? The GPU is a little large apparently.)
Hdd - I have a new one, but it plugs in exactly the same and such. Should be no big deal.
OS - Windows 7 Home
PCI Wireless card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833166020
CD drive - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151187

And this is my PSU
-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341017
Is if sufficient to power everything?

I know It's rather silly to ask these, im just not very good at this part.
I love you all. Please dont let me down.

Why not go for a SB i5 at that price range?
Most importantly, I found something that, between this forums, and several others says will work. Which is comforting. Stressful enough as is. Thank you
Actually, "not working" is very, very seldom a problem.
As long as you pay attention to the details, like not getting an Intel motherboard and an AMD CPU, or trying to put DDR2 into a DDR3 motherboard, pretty much everything should just "work".
Of course, you can argue all day about the finer details of "what's best", but working or not is seldom a problem.

So it shouldn't be toooo awfully stressful.

Its not wasted, and Skyrim will be fine. I dont want to make the switch, I prefer AMD. Ive got stuff thatl work, they all got good reviews. Yes, its more then what you found, but, overall its a lot less then what it "could" be.

Did you know Skyrim currently performs better on Sandy Bridge CPUs over AMD CPUs?

I also don't like to see money get wasted, so I'm not understanding your logic here.

Awesome. I think im going to go with the stuff in the main post. Its gotten overall good reviews, and It is a bit more expensive but thats okay. Ill live, Merry Christmas.

Yes. DDR3 RAM is DDR3 RAM. Phenom IIs work in AM3+ motherboards. The GTX 460 works in the PCI-E slot.

But, Will the current stuff i have listed at the top work (with the addition of the ram she suggested)? Money aside.

@rennac123: Don't get that memory. Aha.
I paid $100 for 1600MHz 8GB RAM, so don't worry.

Yes, but RAM is not the most important component in a gaming desktop. This (w/ promo code) is a better deal on 1600 mhz 8 GB RAM. Not all motherboards allow 1600 mhz RAM to operate at full speed however and as a result, a 1333 mhz kit may be recommended to save money.

Sandy Bridge i3s and i5s have better value at the moment. i3-2100 or i5-2300/2400 are attractive at your budget.

Cheap motherboards:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131783 H67 chipset cannot overclock K-series processors
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128487
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157230 one PCI-E slot, but that does not matter when other cheap motherboards have x16 x4 lanes
Any socket LGA 1155 Intel motherboard will work with Sandy Bridge processors.

The remaining budget goes to the video card, but you have many choices. If you stick to sub-$200 video cards, this $170 Radeon HD 6870 after promo is suitable. The combination of the i3-2100, ASRock motherboard, Corsair RAM, and HD 6870 will cost $455. Indeed you have many choices.

My budget is basically the 500-600. I play tons of games, right now Minecraft to WoW to Skyrim to More advanced graphics wise. too many to name. I do not however, want constant "High" graphics, but i want decent.

My monitor is 1920x1080

I plan on doing neither? as of right now itl be the single card, but i may add a second eventually.

No. But if i were to eventually, itd be nice to have the option. So right now heating shouldnt be a problem with it, hopefully?

Id prefer not to, no its not a concern.

By the way, I switched the to ram whats his name suggested. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428
It says its compatible with AMD Phenom, will it be okay?

By posting this into the wrong section, your thread got a number of junk posts which clearly are only confusing you further. Now that it is in the correct section, I will ask you questions to determine if your build is appropriate.

What is your budget?
What specific game titles do you play or plan on playing? What specific applications do you use this computer for?
What is your monitor resolution?
Do you plan on using SLI or Crossfire?
Do you want to overclock your CPU? Do you have an aftermarket cooler with you?
Can you buy from a website other than Newegg? I sales tax a concern? If it is, provide the state you live in.

While the first poster is correct stating that specific RAM kit is too expensive, he is incorrect by stating G.Skill products are overpriced.
Yeah... 100 dollars is way to much for 2 4G of Ram

If you want, I can build you want (online obviously) and send you a link from newegg about the parts and tell you step by step on how to put it together if you want.
I have before. Im jsut not good at the getting the right parts? I may not suck, im just nervous i guess. Its a large amount of money. I want to be sure it works.

Ram speed doesn't really effect PC performance too much
