Don't worry about it being too easy. The guy in the video went on the easiest difficulty. Remember there are 4 difficulties and the higher ones gives better version of the accessories.
Blackbird as a monster! I love my familiar of it but I've never seen one in game.

Yeah they are Chaos runes, i have no idea why gollux is dropping them though
