Cubing Legendary Equips

I turned my claw from unique in 4 super cubes!; 12% crit/ 9% atk/ 20% boss

My question is now: Can I buy regular cubes (cheaper; event 1k cubes) to continue cubing? or do I need to continue with super cubes?
