I recall the difference between having maxed hp increase and not having it was about 35 hp per level.
It's entirely possible that he didn't put any points in it at all...(because we had Improving HP recovery and Endure back then)

@darkspawn980: how much HP would you lose by messing up pre-bb? cuz i'm thinking even if he maxed it late, it shouldn't account for a 5k HP difference? (well, plus the passive boost we have now, it's probably a 4k ish health difference...)

@Aura0fDeath: you can't mess up now, messing up before though, was a HUGE nerf to hp, depending on how long it took you to max that skill.

@darkspawn980: so the people who made their warriors post-bb should have about the same hp as those who did max the "increase HP" pre-bb, right?

regardless, would messing up a bit on the skill build offset the HP by a few thousand? in my opinion, i think that difference is too large to be caused by ~200-500 HP lost due to incorrect skill build pre-bb?

@Aura0fDeath: no, the skill "increase HP" was added to the warrior HP formula passively.

before, you leveled and got 20 hp +30 from skill (give or take)
now you level, and get 50 hp (give or take)

and on top of what you have, the new HP skill which is 20% more hp.

he can still opt for the "secondary" set of armors which is the path i took despite having an abundance of hp to begin with.
i have one set of gears for damage. which is %str/atk oriented... and i have a second set with invincibility and hp% based.
if survival isn't an issue, or if theres supportive classes like shadowers, bishops or whomever, i use the damage set.
if i'm flying solo and i'm scared of sed 1/1's and whatever else might come up, i'll use the defensive set.

lose a bit of damage ya, but atleast you're alive. better than being having a big damage range and being dead cuz you don't deal any damage when you're floating there

does that mean all pre-bb warriors would have more hp than post-bb warriors? or whenever the increase max HP skill was changed out?

@rogeramirez: only way would be to HP wash, but that's... expensive, to say the least.

Yeah i remember there i messed up my warrior skills in some way but i cant remeber how... so yeah, that's the problem i guess. There is a way to fix it guys?

I got 14.9k hp without hb and 22k with hb and im a UA o.o

i'm also pretty sure str does not affect hp.

int also no longer affects mp for us.

IIRC INT has affected MP growth, and I also remember hearing that str affected HP growth...but then again, i could be wrong, since i don't have extractions =/

Do you remember if you maxed Max HP Increase as early as possible back in the day? It's a possibility.
Are you dying from Damage Reflect maybe?
Can't imagine there'd be anything that'd OHKO you otherwise.

@Aura0fDeath oh and i forgot to metion this but i have 62 dex base (old reg dex build for warriors). @PoetryIsMeh oh well i didnt saw what was the dmg, but sometimes my guildies get surprised when i die at runs (i dont get distracted, i always try to pay attention to the fight) so I started to suspect about my hp

That's pretty bad. My cannoneer has 16k base without hb and 23k with. Isn't ur hb better than decent cuz with actual hb my hp hits 25k.

do any of you two have big bang rings? those give a good 100~ish hp each.

What's your willpower, and do you have any equips that give you static HP increases?

It does seem a bit abnormal to me, or maybe we just increased our HP through other means while the TS didn't get to do that.

@rogeramirez: is ur drk an UA? i *think* there was an issues with UA warriors getting less HP because of that 50 level head start, but I could be wrong. Also, are you completely dexless? And, IIRC, str has an effect on how much HP you gain per level; I have had about 1500~1700 str since about 130 or so....if you have significantly less (due to a lack of %str), that could be it as well?
