Anyone wanna take me on a Gollux Run?
So, i was told do do them, after being scammed and losing everything. i FINALLY got the preq done, and can now do gollux. except for le fact i cant kill him :L
so, would anyone mind taking me on a run? ill lub chu 5eva

Interesting. I never stuck around with hard/hell mode versions of the jaw to find that part out lol. Makes sense in a way though, if it treats each phase of the head as a separate room, then technically once the jaw dies, you're entering the room again... Well I learned something new today lol.

@roguesw Grats. Normal mode is when it starts to get difficult, so I'd save that for later. Takes a [i]lot[/i] more damage to kill him, which leaves a lot more chances at making a mistake, if you're not strong enough to take him out in seconds lol.

@roguesw Yeah you should be okay. The main focus of fighting gollux is to get the green coins, which also drop from his body parts. You can attempt to fight him 5 times a day so long as you don't kill the head (but you only get 3 free keys a day). But you can only kill the head once a day, so for best results, the first 2 times, kill all 3 body parts then leave, and the last time kill all three body parts, and then go for the head.
Just make absolutely sure you kill both shoulders and the abdomen before going to fight the head. Because, once you enter where the head is, that locks in the difficulty until you leave completely, so if you kill 1 shoulder, go into the room with the head (which would make it hard mode), realize you're doing nothing to his hp bar, leave and kill the other shoulder and the abdomen, and try again, the head would still be the hard mode from when only 1 body part was dead, instead of the easy mode from all 3 parts being dead.
I hope all of that made sense. Oh and just learn how to avoid his attacks, especially when fighting the head. On easy mode, he will use a dark purple breath that will do 50% of your hp (so 2 hits, without healing, will kill you) and stun you, so you'll have to move behind his head whenever his eyes glow to avoid it because it usually stuns you just long enough for him to use it again. Takes some practice, but so long as you don't die 5 times, you should have enough damage to finish easy mode before the time limit is up.
What level? I think most of Zero's bossing skills are higher up, and he's tricky, but I've heard him doing hard gollux at 80k, and my drk can't at 200k.

I'm not sure about Evan, but 20k was plenty on all the characters I've tried: DrK, DS, Kaiser, Lumi, WA, Kanna, and Shade. Just takes more skill at lower range. Go to youtube and look up some guides.
