I have 619k~688k range fully buffed and 127 boss%, i just stand behind the root and spam fbbb to kill normal gollux. As for hard gollux, i can't survive it. Also, those gollux sapphire piercing potion and gollux ruby dominance potions you can buy with blue coins from the old guy will help you too.

Take a normal PA buff up use a MPE pot then attack with FBBB some. Then take a fast PA and buff up and use FBBB some. you will notice a difference. Now with that fast PA have a zero/BaM/SI or all and tell me you don't see a difference. OS seems to get out of hand past speed 0 though... Also I have speed 0 people not -1 >.> where did you all see -1?

@Anthoy84: the green potion from mpe does allow you to go beyond the speed cap. However, i have decent speed infusion on my gloves and it doesn't seem to allow me to get to 0 and beyond so im curious how this aran was able to bypass this limit.

lol, that's a Terminus PA so fast (5) applies.

That's a Terminus polearm not a SW.

The TS has a SW polearm though which is Normal(6) so with all that he'd have a speed of 0.

It's definitely possible to solo normal mode gollux with 200k range. Right now, my Aran only has 200k range also after transferring my stuff to zero and I farm normal gollux daily on here. You just have to keep moving to the opposite direction of the face during the jaw and make sure you kill the mobs. During the eye stage you can stand in far corner of the middle platform and "snipe" with Fb+BB, just make sure the mob is in check from time to time. And it should be easy after that part.

Aran's are just awful at bossing compared to other class I find...

Assuming Fast (5) weapon:

Booster: -3
Polearm Mastery: -1
MPE Green Potion: -1
Decent Speed Infusion: -1

Honestly, arans are not built for gollux unless you have a lot of funding and even then, the farthest you'll get is hard gollux. Btw how'd you achieve -1 attack speed ?

Try using final blow spam?

I don't have the range to stand back to not get hit by the 1hko, and to top it off I'm not fast enough to jump down and kill all the summons but I can pop a tempest off to get ride of them. So normally I run up attack run back tempest run up again and repeat >.> hoping that I don't get 1hkoed.

The rushing the eyes when hes about to do the 1hko attack might work, I've been using CS to move out of the way but the delay on it can get you killed.

Blue Lightning on eyes= OHK coming.

Regular blast is nothing to worry about.

Make rounds, like circles around the platforms and base, clearing out the bottom. Always rush to the opposite side when you see the blue lightning.

Control reverse effs yo day up. Watch out for the hands.

More so, practice, practice, practice.

What kills you? Do you know all of the "skills" gollux uses?

The reverse controls is a delayed attack that does 99% of your health. One of the "demon-cry" like skills is a ohko if your on the ground. And the other "demon-cry" like skill (maybe the same one?) is a knockback while on the platforms.

Also, if you stand past the portal on the platform, none of his skills can hit you.
