Explorer job change

Hey guys, i have a lvl 101 shadower, if i change into a db
for a couple weeks. Will i have to buy the skill books like
you had to do before red to job advance to 4th job?
And with the toke were getting from a "cold time" can it
be any level we change a job to change back into shadower?
