Is gray yeti (mushroom castle) THAT rare?
So I went with another guy to do the PQ of the yetis.
So we got white, then after 3-4 times we got gold,
And THEN we tried to get gray, we tried 20 times, and no gray, we CC'ed and tried 3 times, no gray, CC'ed, tried once, no gray, then he logged off.
I don't understand why we don't get the gray one, also is it matter in the channnel? if yes, which is the best to get the gray?

When I bring people through it, it can take up to 10 mins of constant 1-hitting the yetis and re-entering to get the gray. Sometimes though I run them through it in 2 mins
I got it in like the first 5 rounds. Simple.
I landed Gray first try, and second try was white, then it took me ten tries for yellow.

So did I, not sure the order of color but I thought it changes each time.
For me its usually white or gray first my last one is usually the gold one, a breeze
The chances of getting any one yeti is equal, and the chances of getting weapons from any box from any yeti is equal.
It is just a fallacy that the gray one is more rare because people encounter the other ones many times. Like a gamblers fallacy, it run's under the assumption that because you got the other ones so many times in a row, that the next one will be grey, but this one goes under the idea that because you get lucky (or unlucky) enough to get the others multiple times in a row, that the gray one is extremely rare.
go in, if it's not gray go out, and go back in.
it should take no more than 2-3 minutes of going back in

Yes, but no. I've had to try multiple times on some characters, but also got to the grey yeti in less than five attempts on other ones.

Its easier if you just leave w/o killing the yeti unless its the colour you want it to be.
there is no routine, they color that they are shows up randomly.. Grey is just rarer than the other colors
