Hayato

Equiping Hayato

Hi, i was just wondering if it would be a good idea to just star force most of my equips. Not looking to superduper fund it since i came from selling all my equips for a break and now im looking to fund Hayato similar to Demon Avenger. I don't want to deal with primes but rather want to fund Hayato with 15% on weap during fever along with 30% on the armor.
Basically, would it be a similar result compared to funding a Demon Avenger since they mainly only use StarForce?

@demodango: LMAOO grats thanks for the feedback too!

Edit: @demodango: Oh i forgot to ask you your damage with Rai Sanrenzan! I usually use that for training.

So your damage with Hilla;
Rai Blade Flash = 10m (boss) & 6-7.5m (mobs)
Shinsoku = 5.5-6.5m (boss) & 4-4.5m (mobs)

Bosses that doesn't half your damage (Commerci/Zak...etc);
Rai Blade Flash = 22-26m
Shinsoku = 10-14m

@royalonee
Depends on which boss we're talking about. I don't have the best PDR ignore (74.5% quick draw: sources are 30, 40, 10, 35) or boss damage (187% buffed, quick draw, 207% for shinsoku) in the world, but I could hit around 12-15m per Rai line on Commerci bosses last time I paid attention to my lines (btw, my crit damage range is 51%-106% so my damage is actually somewhat unstable despite having 100% crit...I wish they'd fix Shimada Heart)

To put it another way, I can murder normal Hilla in 5-10 seconds without any MPE potions. If I were to get DSI and a green potion, Rai spam would theoretically be about 15% higher in DPS than Shinsoku.

I am about to log on and check my bossing lines again, and will edit this with more accurate numbers when I finish.

EDIT:

To correct a previous post, I actually hit roughly 800k max range in Quick Draw stance with dodge/etc buffs on and no potions. It approaches 900k at 1000 energy in normal mobbing stance.

The following is without any dodge buffs.
Normal monsters: 4-5.5m Shinsoku lines, 6-7.5m Rai lines. Surprisingly stable, actually.

Bosses, with dodge buffs and nothing else:
-Normal Hilla: around 10m Rai, 5.5-6.5m Shinsoku. She died too quickly to get a good estimate for Rai.
-Commerci bosses: This is with the Sudden Strike debuff on. I forgot it for Hilla. EDIT2: Commerci bosses take 22-26m damage from Rai, 10-14m from Shinsoku. My 1000-energy ultimate (either form) does 40m+ on crit versus Commerci bosses (half that vs blackheart/normal hilla), and is extremely satisfying to use for this reason. I've never hit that high before I tried it tonight...
EDIT3: Holy crap I just capped for the first time ever

@demodango: Ahh that's what i wanted to hear I'll be fine with 900k tbh, i just love the fact that DA uses starforce and does the job well. I wanted to see if Hayato can do the same but seems like they can. Thanks! with 900k, how much per line do you hit with Rai (Normal stance & QuickDraw), Shinsoku and Hitokiri on mobs and boss?

@royalonee: It's less efficient simply because DA can scale on both HP and STR (lesser degree for STR but it's in the formula)

I use SweetH2O and starforce'd it, and my fully buffed range (with dodge buff, no hyper buff) is around 900k. I don't have optimal potentials, but they're definitely not too shabby either. If I optimized my potentials and bonus pot to a realistic degree, my range could probably hit 1.6m easily.

@demodango: It wouldn't be as efficient at all? I just asked a Hayato main who uses sweeth20 and only used starforce himself, Managed to get 1.9m+ range i suppose it's mostly the pot then huh.. What's youre range at the moment anyways?

@chickensoul: Damn that's unfortunate, icog & primes can be pricey since i'm trying to not blow any $$$

Spell tracing armor and weapons on Hayato is certainly an option, as it is for most every class. Unfortunately, you most likely won't be getting the same out of it that you would a Demon Avenger (or even a good portion of the other warrior classes).

Not really, I think. DA can get away with using spell traces and star force so much because it's the best source of HP through upgrade slots AFAIK, and DA scales best on HP of course.

I mean, I yolo star force'd most of my stuff since I'm sick of having to get the most expensive consumables in the market and don't intend to spend much real dough on no-boom CS stuff. But my range (while not too shabby on its own, all things considered) isn't nearly as good as it could be.
