Is a person guilty if Hey folks, I have a stupid question to waste your time. Something to think about. A person wakes up in an alleyway. This person has no recollection of their childhood, their past life, their relationships, etc. Basically, this person doesn't remember anything other than the language that he/she speaks. Well, this person lives on to get an education, and gets a job, raises a family, adopts children, and gives to charity simply for the sake of kindness. One day, the police knock on this person's door and tells him/her that they murdered a bunch of people a long time ago, and they haul him off to jail. He/she is now on death row, yet this person had absolutely no idea that they once murdered. The only memory this person r

Macbook dies hours after warranty Fellow basil market citizens, boy do I have a story to tell you I have a 17 inch macbook pro that I bought on December 14th approximately 4 years ago (December 14th, 2007). It has a 2.6 GHZ core 2 duo, and a geforce 8600m GT graphics card. It turns out, my particular macbook pro was a faulty model that had a graphics card that would inevitably fail due to a GPU glitch. As a result, Nvidia payed for the repairs of any computer under 4 years from purchase that had a failing GPU. I was aware of the fact that my laptop might of had a faulty graphics card, but Apple's website says that they will not service a computer until the GPU fails. So I never had it checked, or turned in. So. . . year 4 comes along on Dec

Half the population has BPD, ADHD or OCD Ok, no not really But seriously, I swear that half the people I meet claim to have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), ADHD or BPD (Bipolar disorder). Perhaps it is just the people I hang out with (come to think of it, this is most likely the reason why I see such high prevalence of people with self-diagnosed BPD, ADHD or OCD. My friends tend to be emos, lol), but really, I hope you guys realize that you don't have OCD, ADHD or BPD unless you have been diagnosed. In addition, BPD, ADHD and OCD are so severe, they actually prevent you from living your life normally. Unless your symptoms are that bad, and unless you have been diagnosed, you do not have those mental disorders. Is it popular to have a m

What would you do/think? This is an honest question, and I really want to know this. Alright guys? I really appreciate it. Anyway, what would you do if you were sitting in class/on a bus, and you look around you are you some some other person sitting down a few feet away from you, and that person then randomly clapped his/her hands, hit their head with their hand several times, and started shaking it from side to side? Lets suppose that every 40 seconds to a minute, this person will either repeat those same actions, and occasionally snap his/her jaw several times, loud enough for you to hear it. This person looks, besides the fact that they are performing these weird motions, completely normal, and act no differently than others. Would you

Torture Devices make me sick So I was playing "Amnesia; The Dark Descent" earlier today. Scariest freaking game of all time, like seriously. Anyway, there are several levels where I have to witness several torture devices. I found some seriously effed up ones. . . - Brazen Bull So you are stuffed inside this hollow bull-shaped statue, and you are roasted to death. Your screams come out of the mouth, and it sounds like a raging bull, apparantly. - Judas Cradle You are basically bound up, and you are placed on top of this sharp pyramid, which rips up your lowe

Weird things your professor says Well, I am starting my Jr year of college. My professors are a little. . . weird My first professor is teaching "Drawing for Animation" - During a drawing session, we were drawing a girl dressed in middle-eastern muslim garb. Our professor also turned on some middle-eastern music to set the mood of our drawing session. He said, "I am glad you aren't blowing yourself up" to our model. . . wth My second professor is teaching "Intro to technology" - He is telling us not to believe in the "Lying Charlatans" that are global-warming scientists, and claims that "any idiot can see that global warming is not manmade" and that there is "no science" backing gl

Things about yourself that you hate Just came back from a Tourette Syndrome support group, and I watched the "I have Tourette's but Tourette's doesn't have me" documentary . . . I have been reminded of how much I freaking hate Tourette syndrome, and how much it consumes my life, and how I have spent years worrying about it. I am sick of it. It is a part of me that I wish would sometimes disappear, and just die. I hate it. I am sure all of you have something about yourselves that you don't like, and you wish would just go away. Something about yourself that you think is just stupid, and would go die in a ditch. It can be a condition, habits, desires, whatever. What about yourselves do you guys hate?

Guys - What makes women physically attractive hey folks Just wanted to ask a question. Despite appearances, I am actually a guy in real life just to clear things up. I just traditionally always play female characters, but that is besides the point. I am genuinely curious and I want to ask this from the perspective of other guys. So, my question - What do you find about female anatomy that makes them attractive? I am 19, and back in high school, guys would always make jokes about sex, breasts, and other things like that. I guess I was never as "horny" as the average guy, because quite honestly, I don't find breasts, or "ass" to be that attractive. I hear guys who are like, "I like girls big boobs", or they stare

Libertarian Policies Do Not Work Hey guys. Im a little cranky tonight. I decided to write an essay on why I think libertarianism doesn't work. Feel free to agree or disagree WALL OF TEXT WHY LIBERTARIANISM, OR LIBERTARIAN POLICIES DO NOT WORK Pros of libertarianism Libertarianism has several policies that I agree with 1. Libertarianism supports individual liberties. This includes freedom of speech, religion, etc 2. Libertarianism separates church and state 3. Libertarianism, in theory, attempts to provide a state where all people, through work, can achieve prosperity 4. Libertarianism, in theory, provides a free market state where the best private business (in that they please customers) survives Libertarianism fails to address sever
