A simple question
So when I was going to GameStop to buy some PS3 games I seen a few 3DS XL limited edition Gold/Black and 2 silver luigi ones.
You see I still have an original 3DS and all my friends have XLs and they look and feel nice.
But I want a Wii U because Mario Kart 8 is love.
I could buy both over time but what should I get first?

Gamestop is a ripoff as far as selling or trading goes. In my area there are other used game stores that will give you quite a bit more in store credit than gamestop ever would it just depends.

I agree, buy the one you don't have yet rather than a slightly bigger version of the one you already have. Mario Kart 8 has been pretty fun to me and if you register it on club nintendo before the end of July you get a choice of a free game. So technically you're getting 2 games if you get MK 8 now rather than later. Assuming you like any of the game choices anyway lol.
I'd say go for the wii u because you technically already have a 3DS that you can just trade in for an XL later.
If you already have a 3DS, but you don't have a Wii U yet, why buy another 3DS. The 3DS XL is just larger with some improvements.
