What do these star monsters actually do?
So I know about the whole you need specific star points to kill these monsters on designated maps, but whats special about them? I went through their update notes and it didn't really cover it. Is it just extra experience? Bonus items?

Yeah, huge increase in exp. The skeles in Leafre give about 10x the exp the normal ones give. I didn't stay long enough to test how noticeable the drops are though.
Way more exp. The Ludi star monsters were giving me close to 10k exp. Pretty awesome.
Harder to kill, better drops, more exp. Basically its like killing mobs of a higher level.
