Equipment drops in reboot
They say you can only get drops for your job but what about Begginers?
Also, in non-KMS maps such as MP3 I get drops from all jobs, I haven't checked if that's a pattern in all that kind of maps, but I guess it is.
So uh if you're in a party with other jobs in a normal map (where drops belong to each job) and I kill a mob, can it drop an equip for other member in the party? I mean if I'm a warrior in a party with a mage, can I kill mobs and get mage drops? Do the drops get assigned by damage? The player who did most damage gets the drop (for their job) or is it by last hit?

At least they've made the various equips that drop from bosses worth something to NPC now. Between the mesos and equip drops, it's easy to make 5-7m on a normal zak run.
the stuff you get are mostly for your job class, still you will find an odd crossbow or mace weapon drop one and awhile.. also in magnus and other hard bosses it will drop stuff for all job classes regardless.. i guess thats to keep you farming for what you want
You're right, no one can see the things you drop (including ETC, USE and so on). That applies for parties too.
I was thinking about the same regarding damage on drops, 'cause it has happened to me that I kill a mob that was injured before and sometimes they drop other job's equips.
Still wondering about what happens when a beginner gets a drop and if I can get drops for other jobs while I'm in a party.
I can't prove it or anything, but I'm quite sure that when you drop anything in reboot, no other player can see it. I've tried dropping things a few times in populated maps, and no one has ever picked them up. Could be different for parties, but I doubt it.
It seems to me that the player who gets the most damage gets first dibs on the drops.
