Mastery Books vs Dex?
I've always considered Mastery Books as a privilege, and not really a requirement. Seeing as how instead of just buying a Mastery Book, [i]and assuming it succeeds[/i], and raising your DBE/AW from 10 to 30. You could choose to raise 2 other skills like DBE/AW/AFA/DB all to 10 instead, and just fund your character with %Dex gear...
And there isn't even a guarantee that your 20/30 Mastery Books will even succeed, so aren't you better off just getting %Dex gear and leveling your other passive damage increasing skills to level 10?

Well if you have enough money to spend on % gear I'm pretty sure you can spare some for mastery books. Besides, some are really worth it to get to 30/20. Like AFA and masteries.
