Gaming laptop 900
Yo guys I'm looking for a laptop for 900 canadian dollars that can run most current generation games on medium-high if possible. I live in Canada and most laptops I see on websites are either unavailable/sold out or the prices are way more expensive. I've recently tried to purchase a Lenovo IdeaPad because it seemed like a great price to performance ratio but I was forced to cancel the order due to a 2month plus wait (never buy from Lenovo website) so try to avoid showing any Lenovo products.
Other than that, I don't mind the size of the screen nor do I mind the weight unless its really heavy since ill be using it for uni. Any help?

If you weren't using it for college I would say don't waste your money on a laptop. You could get the same specs or better on a desktop compared to a laptop. currently you probably won't get much better than a basic gaming laptop for about 750$ usd + shipping and handling which could be up to 900.
also most online laptop orders will probably have to be created specific to your specs so it generally takes about a month granted they have all the pieces in stock and not backorder- unless you're buying from major companys like dell etc, which usually don't sell gaming laptops or desktops.
lol obviously any macs because mac > pc amirite xDDDDDD!
@Burning
I know it does. That's why I'm so angry at their service. 3 months for a laptop and maybe more if they keep postponing.
I'll look into those two laptops and see.
The Lenovo Y40 still has the most performance within your budget.
Answer as many questions as you are willing. The information you provide will narrow down the potential computers I look at.
Would you like to save money or do you want to spend as much of your budget as possible?
How much hard drive space do you want?
What games do you play or want to play?
What other programs do you use?
Mention any other special requests you may have. Be as detailed as you can with all your responses.
As much of budget as possible.
Anything more than 300GB HDD. Don't need an SDD.
I currently play LoL but I want to play Skyrim, Rift, TERA, a few games on Dolphin emulator, and maybe just maybe Watchdogs.
Word.
