Somehow when i hit a monster, the hp and monster name isn't appearing, but in the setting it's turned on, why is this happening?

The pirate gods are enraged. Try to restart your computer to calm them or they will release calamity upon you.
Restart your computer (it always works), it sometimes glitches up like that
