Ok, my question is a simple one....... WHY IN HELL ARE FAFNIR KNUCKLES SO EXPENSIVE!

Pretty much this right here. On top of that, many people opt using the Fafnir set over the SW set because of variety of factors, such as tradability (albiet, with PSoKs), the top and bottom vs an overall, the rising price of the SW set vs the deflating price of the Fafnir set, and because you can use the full effects of Tyrant gear with Fafnir vs SW (you can transpose Tyrants to SW, however, you lose the base stats and tradability, as well as the ability to gain more tyrant stats via enhancements).
Potential reasons:
1) Chaos Vellum is hard as f*** to kill.
2) Because of 1), only real way to get fafnir knuckles is through spending cash (marvel machine, etc.)
3) possible EunWol anticipation?
