Can I Sue Nexon? Well, the other day I was mapling as usual. Then I heard a loud crash down stairs and soft whispers ( My computer room is upstairs). I thought I should go check it out, but didn't want to get up off the computer. Turns out I was robbed. I lost nearly $6000 worth of stuff.They took my Tv, Digital Radio and a photo of me (I'm kind of worried about this, I don't know why they took this). I only found out this morning. The thing is, If I wasn't playing maplestory I could have stopped the robbers and would still have the stuff. I feel a victim of nexon, who distracted me with their game and am thinking of asking for $6000 compensation for the stolen items and a further 250,000 maple points in compensation for the stress caused b
Question on defaming There was a guy training in a map by himself and because I entered the map to kill the monsters I was Ksing him. He decided to log off and bring his characters and guild to come defame me. My fame is now -4 or -5. I was getting good exp and didn't rly care about the fame. But that got me thinking what's the point of fame? Is there any point of fame besides popularity/respect in terms of gameplay? Also what is the max fame and amount of negative fame you can aquire?
Controlling The Maple Economy An idea occured to me: This so called death act can clear entire rooms of people with shops in the fm. A hacker can iterally control the maple economy by clearing entire rooms of shops, forcing people to only buy from their non players shops, setting the prices how they want because their is more demand. There's still alot of non player shops but it would sitll severly hamper a majority of the FM. Furthermore: They can clear the entire buying area aswell, meaning they get choose specific times at which people will have to sell stuff, thereby working the economy to their advantage. I.e: buy lots of luk items week before the phantom release, then continually kill everyone in the fm so that the majority of luk ite
Silver Coin Exploit- Information Firstly there is an exploit that has been released in the community. It has somewhat affected the economy and from what I've heard largely the pricing of chaos scrolls. What basically happened is thatthere is an exploit that allows silver coins to be made and items such as chaos scrolls to be aquired from the trading of silver coins via the maple event npcs. What not to do: Do not try to hack/glitch or exploit the game in anyway. Do not use the exploit to your advantage. (mass selling/buying of chaos scrolls for profit even if you are not the original exploiter. This includes mts) Do communicate with or the use the services of the event npcs. Mega KS wars. Well when van leon comes out as most of you probaly know the monsters will have heaps of hp (kind of like bossess) and give heaps of exp. The maps & monsters are generally suited for party style training (our HS slaves will be needed) because of how long it takes to take down a boss. I'm just wondering if that becomes the best training places wont it be KS wars (truckers, galloperas) all over again but much worse since practically all high levels will train there. Is Maplestory Just A Game? YES. Maplestory is just a game. People that made this point in response to what I said In the previous post are off the hook. I'm not trying to argue what to call this medium. What I'm trying to argue is that maplestory keeps getting bagged out by people and that by treating it as something like a yoyo even though you play it is not helping, also games in general. I mean to say that just because it's a game people treat us like we have no social lives and are Angry German kids.
