A little different h2o transposition question, what to do

Right, so I changed to MM, didn't expect to do so (no regrets though), thing is, I wasted my coins in perfecting a Empress bow (well, it's not perfect, 7+ Red Scrolls, Unique 3L, worth Scissoring it? how much could I get from it?), and for the time being just been using a clean empress xbow, but for short-to-mid-term I have decided to go 6 emp pieces and Sw xbow for 60% Boss.

So I bought one for 90m, unique it, and I was thinking to luck out some red scrolls, directly into my sw xbow, I failed my first, and I don't have many coins, so I was thinking about buying service, question is, would it be better to buy a cheap empress xbow for the service? I will have an extra slot, and the one I failed in the one, but if I transpose it (I am aware that will be a pain), will I lose the unique potential on the sw xbow? Actually, I wonder, can I tranpose it if the Sw xbow isn't clean/has potential? Don't remember reading about that.

@cris1000 That's the answer I was seeking, thanks a lot. Fafnir, huh? Losing the unique pot is a turn off... so if that is to happen, maybe I can sell the Sw xbow, and go for it, that would be great for when I switch to RA in the future, I saw one for 600m... That could be an option if I sell some stuff.

You can transpose to a non-clean sw, but you will lose the potential and the scrolled stats on it will be replaced by the empress's. http://i.imgur.com/wEc1QLc.png
I would say it is better to transpose an emp to sw because of more slots, 1 more enhancement, and it is tradable one time if it is psok'd.
If I could scroll an item again though, I would scroll a fafnir xbow.

That's not what I'm asking.

You can only transpose once all the slots have been used. If it has potential, it'll be reset, but the same tier. If it has stars, it'll lose one star after the transposition.
