running how do i run maple on windows 7 ultimate?
Does anyone here know how to get maple to work on windows 7 unltimate? i've tried run as admin for all users and a few other tricks but its not starting up, it just goes to the screen that asks "what happended when maple crashed". >.<

Have you tried running it from GameLauncher.exe in the MapleStory install directory?
I tried adding just about everything form maple folder to my add list on my firewall and the same thing keeps happening. Any new ideas or help would be great

Since you've upgraded to a new operating system, the person above may be correct about it being a firewall issue due to the Windows 7 in-built firewall//computer protection (I don't know much about it but I've heard it is good).
You must put MapleStory and/or GameGuard (gameguard.des from what I remember) in the exclusions list to allow them to run.
