Snipe for most bossing. Some bosses I prefer the other ones though. Like HT/CHT the aerial bomb one is good to hit tail/legs/arms all with each hit, then laser from the right to hit all the heads.
I mostly DIPQ on my Xenon at the moment and I tend to use Beam Dance to mob and Snipe for the bigger targets. If you're looking to use Mecha Purge to train, however, I suggest the tank canon over the aerial bombardment... mainly because it has a reach advantage and seems to be more powerful.
Purple is the best version of Hologram Field in terms of damage, however I much prefer to use Red because it makes your Supply Energy recharge like crazy which means 100% OopArts uptime and you do have 2 other buffs which cost Supply Energy as well.
I think they might have nerfed bombardment. Because I used it all through DIPQ from 140-200, and it was the best of the 3 modes. But now all I see is Xenons using the tank mode, so IDRK. And yes, purple is the best out of the holograph fields

Purple force field would be your best choice.
In terms of mobbing, the straight laser/beam dance would be great.
