Loot the fp boxes and get potions for free.
You can try out daily bosses like zak and get tons of potions too.
Edit: I realize that it may be hard for a beginner to do so. Sorry
I can't really give potions or mesos b/c I'm poorer than most of the noobs on maplestory but feel free to add my main "soratorobo" if you need a friend!
