Questions geared more so for the Higher Lvl Chars

I've hit a bump in my MS career after several years of playing. All my friends have given up on the game so I just wanted to ask:

1. For your higher level chars, what motivates you to continue playing? Basically, why do you continue?

2. Do you train your non-main chars up to the higher levels as well? If so, why?

3. If you do so for your non-mains as well, and so they're not as funded, does that affect your desire to continue training those chars?

1. I'm not stupidly funded so i keep motivated by training and striding for better equipment so i can kill more bosses
2. I do, just because i may want to play with them occasionally
3. kinda. but with how little i play with some of them i hardly ever consider funding.

Wait. What counts as a higher lvl character, 200+ ?
1. For my higher lvl characters that are 170-180, I don't train them.
2.Yes, I do. Because my higher lvl chars get too boring. Once you hit 4th job at 100, you're stuck training 70+ lvls using the same attacks. Therefore, I trained a lot of chars to 120 and stopped some and continued some.
3.I have pretty much all link skills at lvl 2. That usually can ks anyone at R&J and easily makes me able to solo Dipq all the way to 170. So no, it doesn't affect my desire to train them.

1. Events and new content.
2. Nope, too lazy.
If my guild was still active, then that would motivate me more
