Halp. Game experiences lag spikes every like 5 or so seconds

Yo whaddup famzies,

So I like came back to MS for the first time since time immemorial cause the new Wonderoid event looked /lit/ (well not really but that one image I saw online of that android crying while smiling got me all curious in all the ways so I came back) and had a good sus at it.

After much intense attempts to get the god damn game to work- slight off topic solution for a diff problem here but if your game crashes/freezes DCs after logging into your character, try doing a hard reboot of your computer. I cant remember the exact reasoning behind it but it would appear that launching Ms more than once on Windows 10 leaves corrupted traces of something in somewhere and it screws up your game. After you reboot it'll launch fine- I finally managed to git the game working and so I log on, try to do the Jump Quest which like any other Jump Quest, is literal hell, not to mention Im controlling another what appears to be an android with the human traits of a 5 year old vegetable, only to be posed with this problem:

My game lags every 5 or so seconds. Maybe less, maybe a little bit more, but whatever the hell I do, the image will freeze up, and I cant do anything. The music is on going, it seems to just be the video. But this spike. For the love of god this lag spike.

This happens everywhere, in town, in training zones, in whatever. As long as it's a map Im lagging. I doubt it's cause my computer aint up to par, I run a (humble brag here) pree deece set up with an i7, I think it was like 64Gb of RAM and a 1080 (unfortunately the founders edition though so), if that aint enough to play a side scrolling game with pixels well fuqq I better ask if NASA is chill w me installing Maple on their comps.

If anyone's got any insight please halp. I just wanna afk and not play the game in Henesys without lagging. That and get me hands on a Wonderoid.

This might be a sign of Memory/DLL corruption.

According to this guide:
http://forums.maplestory.nexon.net/discussion/151/memory-dll-corruption/p1

You should probably do the following:

Changing in-game settings, shutting down the MapleStory client, or even re-installing it, does not change anything. The only known cure is a Full Shutdown and restart of the computer, as apparently a Hybrid/Quick Restart preserves whatever it was that got corrupted.

For Windows 10:
If you don't want to disable fast start-up, run Command Prompt as Administrator.
Then copy-paste the following:
shutdown /s /f /t 0
Hit enter, and your computer will do a full shutdown.

If you do want to disable fast start-up.
1. Open the Control Panel (icons view), and click on the Power Options icon.
2. Click/tap on the Choose what the power buttons do link on the left side.
3. Click/tap on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link at the top.
4. If prompted by UAC, click/tap on Yes.
5. To Turn Off Fast Startup, Under Shutdown settings, uncheck the Turn on fast startup box, click/tap on the Save changes button. You can do the same to turn on fast start up again.

If this doesn't work I would recommend:
- Posting this on the official MapleStory Forums.
- Contacting Customer Support via Ticket or Live Chat.
