Are there conditions when I have all of the below. Before awhile ago, I thought it was normal, but now, it does seem a little weird, strange, and a little freaky. Are there special conditions when someone: 1. Has do to do almost everything in multiples of 3? I have to do something repeatedly in multiples of 3. I feel safer when I do it, but I feel quite uncomfortable and not relaxed when I can't change it to a 3. 2. Can't stand friction? I ABSOLUTELY cannot stand friction. I don't mean like a car driving on the road friction. Then I would have problems. But anyways, my head tosses and turns and I feel really nervous when someone rubs two dry towels against each other. Or if someone rubs their sneakers against a carpet. 3. Feels uncomfortabl
Since There Has Been Many Girl Threads We need a how to get a guy thread! I'm surprised that girls haven't made these yet. Either the girl count on Basil is low or guys are just that desperate...
Math Help Limits and Definition of e Evaluate: lim ((x-2)/(x+1))^x as x approaches infinity. The answer is e^-3. Could anyone explain this to me please? Thanks in advance!
Advice for Best Friends Dating So my two best friends and just can't keep their hands off each other. They're not officially "dating," but everyone knows that they have this undeniable spark of everlasting love. They can't stop making each other laugh, and they're always together. The way they smile and stare into each other's eyes makes it so obvious that they're meant to be. I really want to help them, but they always deny that they're together. What should I do? Help!
Marbury vs. Madison Hey, this isn't directly related to the case, but it is relevant. But why exactly isn't Judicial Review written in the Constitution? The Constitution specifically states the powers of the other two branches, but why not have an amendment or something? Thanks Guys!~
When You Lock Threads I love it when people try to act smart and make a thread acting like they know everything, get completely argued against, and close the thread with a petty comment before locking it. It's not clever at all. You know what that really says about you? By the way, this was just something I though of, and bares no resemblance to any Basiler's actions today at all. Discuss
Quick Math Problem Assisstance Hey~! Here's a picture, because just explaining it would be difficult: If it's any help, the chapter is on Power Theorems. If you understand the problem but forgot the theorems, here they are: If two chords of a circle intersect inside the circle, then the product of the measures of the segments of one chord is equal to the product of the measures of the segments to the other chord. (Chord-Chord Power Theorem) If a tangent segment and a secant segment are drawn from an external point to a circle, then the square of the measure of the tangent segment is equal to the product of the measures of the entire secant segment and its external part. (Tangent-Secant Power Theorem) If two secant segments are drawn from an

A Peck of Pickled Peppers So, Basil, what's your favorite alliteration or tongue twister?
Physics Homework Help We learned about static and kinetic friction the other day and he assigned a sheet of problems. I understood number 1 part a, but I don't understand how to do part b. Spanish Preterite vs Imperfect I'm a Sophomore in high school and taking Spanish III Honors. We learned the preterite and imperfect in 8th grade, but it comes up every year for review. I've decided that I want to completely master it, so I've done hours of research trying to memorize every single rule. But there are too many ambiguities, there isn't a specific line drawn and precise/explicit parameters/rules. I read online, and they only explain the simple obvious rules. Any experts in Spanish, or hopefully, a native speaker <3? I do have a specific questions, too: What's the difference between tener in the preterite and imperfect? I know they are roughly translated as got and had, but they almost seem interchangeable at times. There are
More Math Matters I never thought I would make one of these lol. Anyways, I'm in Algebra II and I don't understand what to do. 2x^2 - xy - 3y^2 - 1 = 0 a. Use the quadratic formula to solve for x in terms of y. b. Use the quadratic formula to solve for y in terms of x. So basically for the first part, I use a=2, b=-y, and c=-3y^2 - 1. But the answer I got isn't right? Can anyone help please?
Does Anyone Recognize This Background Music? I know this could have gone in the Anime section, but it's unlikely that that specific audience would recognize the tune. Does anyone recognize the tune at 8:20? It sounds really familiar, and I'd really like to have that song. Thanks!~
The Lame Name Flames Game Okay, so as this title suggests, this thread is lame. So basically, let's name all the topics that always gets flamed, trolled, attacked, etc. I'll start first. The obvious answer: religion threads.
Looking for Calculus Geniuses Power Series So I have this test tomorrow on Power Series. I understand how to find a taylor polynomial, error estimation, interval of convergence, and all that good stuff. But I have serious trouble with finding the function when given the sigma/summation notation. Here's two examples. I've memorized the series for 1/(1-x), sinx, cosx, and e^x. Those are the ones my teach always base the problems off of. Does anyone have a process that they could share with me?
