Some tips for a newbie?

Okay, so I'm having some troubles with my damage(aside from it being ridiculously low, 20~25k range lol). My main concern is that it is far too inconsistent. Even with max Bow Master and max Bow Expert, each hit differs way too much from one another. Non-crit I can easily hit 45~80k and with crits, 60~100k. I never expected my damage to be exact or anything, but it seriously pisses me off that I don't have a clue of my own damage.

Another thing that is troubling me is, as I stated before, my range being far too low. I'm currently using a level 110 Renegades bow(must've gotten it 2~3 years ago) that, after all the enhancements, has 141 weapon attack. Far from being the best weapon for me, but I really treasure it. I'm using a full enhanced level 100 set (enhancements are my best option since potentials are way too expensive for me as of right now) and would like to know easy accessories(shoulders, belts, pendants) for me to get that easily for potential(as in, I can just throw it away and get another one if I don't like the potentials). Also, which skill should I max first? Spiraling Vortex or Song of Heaven? They're both currently at level 1.

Thanks in advance

I just maxed everything at 140 anyway. And I'm absolutely sure I can't kill Gollux for the stuff or buy it due to high prices. Right now I hit about 80~160k on bosses due to the fact that I lack any kind of PDR other than Link Skills(Luminous') and the W.A. skills themselves. I'm currently soloing Easy Magnus in the false hopes of him dropping Elite or Nova equips for archers.

There's nothing you can do about consistency. Most classes have 70% mastery on their 4th job mastery skill, so it's the same everywhere else. Get solid gollux belt and pendant; that should help a bit. Personally, I maxed Bow Expert, Albatross Max, Sharp Eyes, Spiraling Vortex, then Song of Heaven. Nowadays, so much SP is given, it doesn't really matter which skills you max first. Usually, I prioritize offensive passives/buffs first though.
