Hi guys! I've always wanted to try making pixel art and I decided to use Minecraft to recreate my own Maplestory character! It took roughly under 15 hours to make.
Some things to note (in case you guys were wondering and are unfamiliar with Minecraft) :
1a: This is the Xbox 360 Edition. That means I didn't use any programs or mods to assist me(there are no mods or hacks as far as I know).
1b: However, there is a duplication glitch on the Xbox360 edition. I used it to duplicate the colored wool and some diamond tools.
1c: The Xbox360 Edition has a UI on the bottom, but I turned it's opacity to 0% so that the HUD doesn't block the sculpture.
2: The Xbox360 version does NOT have creative mode, only survival. This means that I cannot "fly" and put blocks wherever I wanted. I built a 71X71 wall of dirt with a layer of cobblestone every 10th block to prevent confusion. Then I had to make a stack of dirt and placed each block vertically on the wall. When I was done, I removed the dirt and cobblestone.
3: That is, I used BannedStory to create my character and I used MSPaint to place a grid on each pixel. Then I zoomed the picture and placed blocks wherever needed by color.
4: Minecraft has a limited color spectrum. I used my best judgement of colors to what I was limited to in minecraft. Please don't bash my picture because it doesn't look EXACTLY like my MS character ;__;.
