Problems after patch
after maintenance, i cant log into maple. i'll run launcher, then it'll flash the maple window and then close. in my task manager there's something new called NGPatcher.bin running, but it does NOTHING. and also, it creates a new file in my folder called NGGate. i didnt change anything in my folder, it was working fine yesterday, and now its broken and all stupid idgi. pls halp.

Agreed with this, Im missing NGGate.bin and NGPatcher.bin and have no working client in this house or friends who play anymore.

Once I got the NGPatcher.bin file from a friend and downloaded the Blackcipher manual patch it worked. Looks like that's the solution.
i tried all the steps here and still nothing. i tried maually patching cyper. then i got the missing files from nggaurd from my gf over skype, still nothing. i guess tommorow we're going to try and replace all files with her files and see if it works..
Is anyone else getting a crash notice that tells you to send an error report after Hackshield and Nexon Game Security loads? I've been getting this since last night and deleting/moving my NexonGuard folder from my Maplestory folder doesn't help. I also don't have NGPatcher, only MaplestoryN.dat, NGCore.bin, NGCore, and NGGate in my NexonGuard folder. I've also reinstalled maple and that didn't help at all >.<
same problem reinstall game .... that did nothing patch nothing,i am missing some part in my (nexon guard) it's possible to dowload the normal nexon guard?

If you have another computer with working maple take it from there. Or get a friend or trusted mapler to send you a copy of theirs over skype or something. Make sure it's a .bin file and you put it in the NexonGuard folder.
@DemonSlayer: That wasn't what I was asking, I was asking where I can download the NGPatcher.bin thing, not where I can find it on my computer. I have NGClient, NGCore, and NGGate. No NGPatcher

When you first open ur maplestory folder, the first 3 things would be folders...check all 3 of them

Any idea where I can find NGPatcher.bin? I don't appear to have it.

Looking through the Technical Support section of the Nexon forums, most people have this issue on Vista. There are a few with Windows 7, though.

I also did a system restore, deleted everything including registry and temp files, redownloaded the game, defragmented it deleted blackcipher installed clean blackcipher and updated all my graphic drivers, then edited my registry to open in window mode. Nothing worked still having the same exact problem; the maple window pops up then crashes instantly with no error codes. Also i'm running Windows Vista. My Windows 8 laptop has no problems though.

Pretty sure it is related to Windows Vista, who knows when they will fix it.
We're all in the same boat. The game worked just fine yesterday, but when I first tried to launch MS this afternoon is when the chaos started.
Our maintenance brought a huge change! You can't even launch the damn game! Now, pay up! These high-quality servers won't pay for themselves!
