PVP- battle manual or B.att items

Hiya all,
Should I save all of my gallant emblems to buy the 100-costing battle manual, or should I buy some +PVP damage items?
It seems with PVP items I might be getting points a lot faster, but on the other hand, all 4 PVP items would be 40 emblems, so is it really worth it?
