Known bugs?
Hi there,
I've been experiencing a few different bugs ever since the last maintenance and couldn't find much information on them on basil or google.
I can't use the following chats: "to all", "whisper", or in trades. I looked this up and it seems like a few other people at least have experienced this. I found that if I type into the chat bar multiple times it'll eventually work like the 5th or 6th time. I haven't tried this fix with trade chat yet though.
When killing mobs, sometimes they don't disappear from the screen. I've mostly noticed this at SDH with regular mobs, and always with elite mobs. This gets pretty annoying as it clutters up the screen and I find myself going to attack mobs that aren't there. If I leave the map and come back and disappear, but I was wondering if this has been happening to anyone else too? Also when killing HT sometimes his body parts don't turn to stone once they're dead. It's not a huge issue as I know which parts I've already killed, but just thought it was worth mentioning.
When I went to finish the gold dragon quest line for the medal (final boss fights), I was able to kill the first two no problem, but when I got to red tiger it got stuck at the cutscene and wouldn't trigger the battle. I've entered the battle no problem before this, so I don't think it's my computer. Also, boss hp bars have not been appearing (with the exception of HT for some reason) so I have to kind of guess how much they have left.
Lastly, I crash every time I beat madman ranmaru. I never lag during the fight, but my game crashes right when his last hp bar hits empty. I've only killed him 5 times but it's happened every time. However this has been happening since before the maintenance.
Any ideas anyone?

@duckymucky: Yes, thank you! It fixed the chat thing for sure. Haven't tested any of the others yet, but I'm sure it will have solved most of them too
@stankybean: I forgot to include windows 7 as well xD. Any luck on working?

Pack3t 3diting a common term used in illegal activities.
Sometimes I can't enter Ardent mills by clicking up in the portal. But I can get in via Quick move button.

The problem with windows 8 or higher is that in order for the computer to have a fast load time, it sometimes doesn't shut down fully. So it then causes some of the programs to not run correctly. Shutting down fully should fix this.[/quote]

I actually have three different computers. The one I have as a designated maple computer (it literally can't run anything else) is this old desktop I had from 2006. It's running Windows 7 though, so I don't know if the "full shutdown" thing still applies. I should probably throw this one away at this point, but I can't bring myself to do it since it's the one I played maple on originally back when I was like 10 living with my parents lol.
I also have a MacBook Pro which Ive run maple through boot camp on with no issues (however, I haven't used it since I've begun experiencing these issues), and a new laptop I just bought with Windows 10 that I haven't played maple on at all. I'll try launching the game on these other two to see if I get the same bugs on them as well.

Yeah, I experienced what you had before. I'm assuming that you can't harvest correctly either. All you need is a complete full shutdown of your computer. You can download it by searching up full shutdown on google from howtogeek.

"
1. First please close all open applications including torrents, DC-clients, ICQ, Web Browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and the like), and Mail clients etc... As these can interfere with the connection test results.
2. Next, install pingplotter on your computer.
3. Launch pingplotter and maximize the window.
4. In the "Address to Trace" field please type in the IP address of the server you were just playing on and then press enter. <- use whatever server IP you are connected to.
5. Now we would like you to right click on each of the bottom 7 hops and choose "show this timeline graph".
6. Let this trace run for at least 15 minutes and for around 30 if you are able.
7. Finally we would like you to please click "file" (in the upper left hand of you screen), then "save sample set", save the file and then attach it to your reply." <- If you want.
