1- When you have an NPC make you an item like gloves or shoes (like in the Ludi shoe and glove shop, or Gordon the Shoemaker in El Nath among others), and I think the weapons forging NPCs (like in the toy factory in Ludi), using a Stimulator will give the chance of making the item's stats come out above average. However, there's a chance the item and the materials will blow up.
2- When YOU make an item with Maker Skill, a Stimulator will guarantee the item's BASE stats come out at least average. There's a random chance the stats will come out above average, but the Stimulator doesn't add anything to the stats, just keeps them from being below average. And there's a 10% chance the item and the materials will blow up.
