what are the soul weapons
ok, i'm a bit confused about the update about the soul weapons... please don't flame me for my lack of understanding, but i haven't played in a while.
what monsters do you have to kill to get the soul... thingy? and do the boss monsters always drop it?
are the buffs that they give you temporary?

Nobody I've met completely understands this system, and it's really poorly explained. So don't feel bad for not getting it
From my understanding, bosses (idk if all bosses) drop these things called SHARDS, and from 10 of these shards you can collect that boss's SOUL. There are many different types of souls for each boss, and these souls give stats that range from +stats, +def, +atk etc. You can check which souls give which stats by double clicking the shards in your USE tab
These souls also summon the soul's boss and it'll help you in battle.
Now, about the Soul Gauge... When you attack monsters, you collect these black things called SOULS, get 1000 of these and you will be awarded +10atk, or +10matk. These is permanent until you relog or die, then you have to refill your gauge!
The little arrows underneath the gauge activates the attacks your Boss Soul can use, but im pretty sure these attacks use up your gauge! So time your attacks right~
To make your weapon into a Soul Weapon you need to use one of those soul things (LOL i forget what they're called) you should've gotten a 100% one already, but some mobs drop 30% ones very rarely..

No, Bosses have a chance to drop one piece. You need 10 pieces to make a soul.
I went bossing @ Spirit of rock (20+), Ephina (17) and Prison guard Ani(13) And none of those dropped a single piece for me.
however in mu long dojo there's also an Ani which, the past 3 days, dropped at least 2 pieces per day(3 runs).
There's also Mu gong but he didn't drop anything for me.
Hilla seems to drop at least 1piece from 2 runs to daily.

You hunt Murgolos (Whatever it is called, it's like a demon skeleton) and cc at your range-levels, also hunt bosses for them too
