I don't understand spending hundreds on drop gear if you can spent it on funding yourself instead, you can even sell it for nodestones. Even more pointless if it's across multiple characters, what good is drop rate if you can't kill fast enough? Funding over 2 characters requires being the wealthy 1%.
Now if you ran into %drop while looking for %stat that's a different story.
Well I saw islinggunz's video on the drop rate changes, he went from 8 nodestones an hour to just 2 after the patch. So what I want from nexon is for them to remove the nodes that aren't for your class you should only be getting nodes (skills + boosts + specials only) that correlate with your class.
I think nerfing this is ok. It makes the game a bit less unfair, if its the way it sounds like people won't be able to just buy their way to better drops as easy.
@streetfights: Well you might know how many cubes you get aprox. per character? Maybe it's like 8-10 cubes per character and multiply that amount with your characters.
@hualicious: I do 9 explorers with 251% drop gear, 231% on mules. I got hyper rock, bishop, wealth potion, 2x nx coupon, event and atk buffs. its worth it for me and its fun. I aiming for another 19% increase with free event cubes. but if they nerf all this. pretty much there is no more fun factor from this game anymore. I can easily tell if I get big nerf or not. since I get a good sum of cubes from farming for 4hours.
That's a crazy amount to spend on many drop gears for multiple characters...
If I was going to farm cubes on multiple characters I would just have used the tradeable drop gears.
Tradeable drop gears: Lv75-110 (craftable)- Earrings (20%) Lv?-110 (craftable)- Pendant (20%) Lv70 - Black Bean Ring (15%) Lv40 - Branch Nose (15%) Lv45 - (White) Raccoon Mask (15%) ----------------------------------- Total of 85% Drop Rate
I had only my Greed Pendant (Legendary with 20% drop rate) when V-Patch was released. And during Decembers Double Miracle Time I did not think about creating my drop gears, which I regretted untill I thought I should get my drop gears in February. In March I got all my drop gears but one is not ready yet, I still need to finish scrolling it.
Then KMS released that change on drop rate... I will make use of it untill then. It is a bad decision. It's destroying the purpose of drop rate potential, since it will be less effective. We can expect a decline in population. I don't even do daily bosses anymore. I spend the time on doing events mainly. I hunt Nodestone/Symbols while gaining EXP and leeching my Kanna.
KMS did not release any details regarding the drop rate change so we gotta wait out till more information is known, as Max (Orangemushroom) already stated. This has to be tested with more players with full drop gear. When I had nearly all my drop gear, I had also my unlucky days, 3 days in a row during 2X event + drop buff.
The whole 2x event I only collected 12 Nodestone or something, which is bad knowing I can get more and other players were getting also a lot more. This amount was the same when I only had my Greed Pendant during 2x Event lol.
So yea even if you have drop gear, it still depends on RNG. So we need more KMS players to report their results.
@piana: well this is all about boss cubes. also if u havea link to prove how they will nerf my drop rate towards boss cube drop send me the link. also they did match in the kms patch its test server or system. they BETTER REGRET for suggesting this new system.

@piana: I will drop the farming and playing most of the contents in the game. I just wait til they fix it. or I just pop in to say hi to my friends.
