@qwan456: thanks thanks!
his laptop came with a dead usb port and they refused and continue to refuse to replace/fix it.
HP laptops are terrible. Anything you can do on an HP laptop, you can do faster with a toaster.
Yes, the brand of a computer determines it's performance...Right...
@hairybalrog: uhh, what? asus is notorious for terrible customer service, that alone is bad enough.
also, my friend owns an asus and he says he isn't satisfied with it.
Well, I wouldn't say they are "terrible", as that one time I had to contact them, they easier to deal with than most I had dealt with in the past. From what I remember, my friend with an Asus G60 had a pretty good experience with their CS as well. Yes, they did transferred him a few times, but that is to be expected, as the usually the first tech help you get from any company is probably the less knowledgeable people who are paid less. Which usually the area where most people get ticked off and go on a rampage about how so-and-so is a horrible company...

Why isn't he satisfied, btw?

Oh, and congrats on your laptop.

Don't be hating. If HP is so bad, then what laptop is good?
