Set Combinations Dilemma

I'm currently using 3 RA (hat,top,bottom), all sengoku (ring,belt,shoulder), 3 bounty (ring,earring,eye), and I switch between tempest and greed pendants. I'm also using maxed sylph ring and explorer's critical ring. I don't have any gollux or tyrants.

Between these sets, I'm trying to decide which combinations to use. I want to be able to use the alien helm though. Let's assume these are all clean (base stat, not scrolled). Also, they all have 15 stars enhancement available except for the alien ring. Since the alien set are level 180, their potentials are at a higher tier than sengoku or bounty. I didn't include hammers but let's not forget that. Here are the info:

Sengoku level 140 set:
* 2 Set Effect: All Stats +2, ATT +3, Total Damage: +3%
* 3 Set Effect: All Stats +8, ATT +12, Total Damage: +6%

* Ring: All Stats +5, 3 slots
* Belt: All Stats +10, ATT +1, 3 slots
* Shoulder: All Stats +11, ATT +7, 1 slots

Bounty Hunter level 150 set:
* 2 Set Effect: ATT +6
* 3 Set Effect: ATT +7, Total Damage +10%
* 4 Set Effect: All Stats +15, ATT + 9, Boss Damage +15%

* Ring: All Stats +5, 3 slots
* Earring: All Stats +5, 3 slots
* Pendant: All Stats +6, 3 slots
* Eye: All Stats +5, 3 slots

Alien Fragment level 180 set:
* 2 Set Effect: All Stats +20
* 3 Set Effect: ATT +50
* 5 Set Effect: Boss Damage +30%

* Ring: All Stats +10, no slot/potential/enhancement
* Earring: All Stats +20, 5 slots
* Pendant: All Stats +25, 3 slots
* Belt: All Stats +15, 3 slots
* Helm: All Stats +50, 15 slots

Gollux:
* 2 Set Effect: All stats +15
* 3 Set Effect: ATT +30
* 4 Set Effect: Boss Damage +30%, PDR -15%
ring, pendant, belt, earring
Root Abyss:
* 3 Set Effect: ATK +50
* 4 Set Effect: Boss +30%

@ox0Shad0w0xo: 9% sengoku actually. Anyways, I see what you mean. RA+Gollux for bossing is nice. But I want to know about other combinations that works with alien helm
@twopointonefour good point
@billy61 lol ikr, it's like some kind of guide

so far, it's:
3 Gollux: ring, belt, pendant/earring
3 Alien: helm, ring, earring/pendant
2 Sengoku: ring, shoulder
should I replace my sylph ring or my explorer's critical ring? or just take out the sengoku ring?

Keep your Kanna Treasure and Hayato treasure, these 2 items don't conflict with any sets and it's pretty much free total damage.

@SunsetChaos Sorry I don't know where i got 7% from. I meant the set effects for sengoku (6% damage) and bounty hunter (10% damage). They're good when you don't have anything else yet, but once you can replace them they are far outshined. And no the water accessories don't have a set effect.

@ox0Shad0w0xo what do you mean by 7% damage? And yes, I'm aware of the water accessories. I didn't mention them in this thread since they're not really related. But now that you mention it, do the accessories have a set effect? I can only remember the armors+weapons having it, just not the accessories.

@SunsetChaos It's not that it's bad, just that it's not worth going out of your way to keep. I can understand wanting some alternatives, but at 400k range, you're going to be 1shotting normal monsters so %boss sets would be more beneficial to what you can/can't kill. Not to mention that clean reinforced gollux gear all have +all stats and attack and get huge boosts from the gollux scrolls. 7% damage is moot compared to 50+ all stats and 20+ att on 3-4 equips. And with full ra and gollux sets that's 90% boss right there (60% from both set effects and 30% on the weapon).

Also, if you don't mind untradeable forever items, you can get the sweewater tattoo and glasses which come epic on reveal. They aren't part of a set though.
Don't bother trying to get the alien helmet unless you want to spend at least 50 hours doing the pq for it on less than 2x drops. (Only the golden version of the pq boss drops it, and he only appears 5-10% of the time)(It worse than the empress might quest line, I tried, and gave up trying to get the alien helmet)
Using the alien helmet also removes the 50 att set bonus from the root abyss set, so I recommend not to get it.

I'm going to assume you do not have the money to self cube the alien equip to really take advantage of the lv 160+ tier on the aliens equip(**1% extra stat per line**), therefore the raw stats from the fully scrolled Reinforced Gollux equips will completely surpass the extra 1-3% stats per equip that alien equipment potential offer.
Clean alien set without the helmet is inferior to a full reinforced Gollux set (earring, pendant, belt, ring).
The usual combo is RA + Gollux, which I already know. But I want to consider other options, that's why I made this thread. I alerady have the alien helm in case that wasn't clear. And you're right, I'll most likely settle for epic pots, which the alien equips happen to come with.

I'm considering:
Gollux: ring, belt, pendant/earring
Alien: helm, ring, earring/pendant
Thoughts?

Get full reinforced toss the rest since none of the other set bonuses are worth it. Also work on scrolling the reinforced set with the gollux scrolls
My question is what's your range? You can easily get the gollux set without much funding, even faster if you can kill normal mode (since easy only gives 2 coins). Even a cracked gollux set would be better than what you're using. Solid is even better, but reinforced is the best set for unfunded to aim for, since the belt/pendant are still reasonable prices in fm. Compared to the huge jump at superior
only 400k buffed with my current loadout
Okay, I'll consider reinforced set. But which combinations should I use with the other sets? I'm thinking 3 set reinforced... which pieces and what about the other sets?

Edit: Are Total Damage% really that bad?

You're donating tyrants to me? Sure, I'll accept them. Also, what's tyrant got to do with this? Aside from the belt.
