@animus: Yeah I just go on a rant whenever I talk about it because it has so many problems.
@ecarina: ...we are agreeing each other, right? That the coupon is going to sell a lot due to this and that factor. And let's not turn this into a SAO review or something irrelevant.
@animus: My point still stands that it's totally unobtainable except for coupons that have been saved from the event.
And yeah SAO can be a fun show for the first half of the first season if you ignore its many many flaws, (from the harem-bait characters to even just the launch numbers for the game being completely pathetic but treated as if they were revolutionary. Seriously 10k active players at launch is atrocious, not a massively popular game.) The main villain has no motivation, Kirito has no character arc, the stuff with his sister is gross, Asuna gets quickly reduced to a damsel in distress, the fact that nerve gear even became a thing in the show's universe even after the first game with it was a massive failure on top of being a death machine.
There's so much wrong with it.
@ecarina: To be fair, it isn't groundbreakingly bad if you're just to pick an anime and watch it to kill time, but it is indeed overrated. Aside from that thank you for confirming what I said, although whether if it looks nice or not is up to the individuals to judge themselves if they've any ability to do so as long as they are not one of the sheep. Not to say it is objectively bad, but you get what I'm trying to say here as a general consensus.

Probably yes, seeing how it's one of the most overrated anime out there and there are tons of sheep (not limited to just Anime genre as a whole) so the demands will be always there.
