General

30% pdr roughly equals out to 30% dmg on boss and 15% attack on normal mobs
15% is generous,
most mobs have 20% pdr, so a 30% rate at ignoring it means a 7% increase in attack
at bosses with 50% pdr, chaos zak and ht it is worth exactly 30% attack
at bosses with 40% pdr, zak and reg ht it is worth exactly 20% attack
at bosses with 75% pdr, empress and pink bean 30% pdr is worth a whopping 90% attack (90% pdr would be 3.7x more damage on these guys when compared to 0% pdr)

through my own research at around level 162, 3% stat is better than 6% atk, the higher level you are, the more apparent this is

thats the exact reason i dnt have the emp set Lol i'm perfectly fine with non emp high %dex gear

@ChocoSword: I do play for damage, i can imagine a whole sharktooth set will probably do 2x the damage im doing... i dont wanna commit because its such a hassle. Get the set, scroll them...potential them...cube them...what a hassle know what im saying.

First going to add PDR or Boss Neb then, atm i got the empress set (without cape) but like you say i got some 12%DEX gear and 38 att VSS, 30 att Mask, etc so im thinking if i should transfer that to my Jett or chaos scrolling the empress for Jett and keep it o.o o.o o.o

If you want my advice, I would say sell that VIP gun. If you have a very strong gear (27 att vss, 27 att SMG, or a 15% gear) then don't use this advice. I find the empress set very strong on Pirates because they use overalls and the only top and bottom available is the Andriod set, but isn't obtainable anymore. Empress set gives you 30% boss, +2 all skills and +45 wep attack. The best part is that the gun is the highest base attack (100 attack) and it can be perf to 150 attack. The set also sustains itself so if you go strless, all you need to do is wear a Zak helm and wear and switch back. Since you're in Scania, the shoes/gloves/hat/overall are cheap (50m~100m). You can easily chaos them for higher attack like +5. You can then use NX to pot and cube (100% pot and the sale right now). You can buy a perf 32 attack glove for about 1.5b (Not sure, but I saw a 32 attack epic 2l crap pot for somewhere around there). You can then just cube. The cape is about 900m~1b. The gun can be found for about 300~500m. You can use the pink 50% 2h for wep attack to perf the gun. You can choose to go lucky and use the renegades 10% clean slate or GM clean slate 20% or you can use pinks and WS. For my gun, I used clean slates because I found it was cheaper in a way, but time consuming. With WS, you will get your gun perf faster, but cost heavily. There are GM slates for about 40m ea. Lastly, all you do is need to cube. That is my advice.[/quote]

i agree on the sharktooth set, but i didnt choose it because i have my 148 concerto Legendary potential, no 27 atk duped bullcrap...so im not godly. I was leaning towards getting the whole set for the 30% Boss, but the thing that made me not do it was i seen so many pirate&other classes all geared with the same set and theyre everywhere in FM for 40-50m ea..i dont wanna be like 1 of the others

Boss damage, Ignore Defense or Dex %. In that order.
